Jim gives demonstrations of his expressive
portraiture painting technique to audiences
using oils.
A person is selected/volunteers from the audience
by the host and Jim develops a portrait
while explaining the process. This includes
measuring technique, colors, brush strokes
and materials.
The demostration takes about an hour and a
half in which Jim utilised two 20 minute sessions
to develop the portrait. The remaining of the
time is spend answering questions and describing
his process.
At the end of the demostration the portrait is given to the sitter.
