Video extends the
work beyond the canvas. Two works currently: Silence is Golden and Time and
Time Again. Both take the same concerns as the paintings. Vulnerability,
suffering, psychological states. Made durational. You cannot step back from a
video the way you can from a painting. It unfolds at its own pace. The viewer
has no control over when it resolves. It may not resolve at all.
